Brief vs Trunk vs Jock: Finding Your Fit

Every underwear brand claims their cut works for everybody. That is marketing. Different cuts do different jobs, and picking the right one matters more than picking the right size. Here is the honest version.

The brief: maximum intent

The brief is the most confident cut in the drawer - minimal fabric, full range of motion, and nowhere for a print to hide. Our briefs run low-rise with a contoured pouch, which flatters most builds and works especially well if you are shorter or more muscular through the thighs.

Choose it if: you want the print seen, you run hot, or your jeans are slim. Start with: the Inferno Strawberry Brief, the pair that started the brand.

The trunk: the everyday flex

A trunk is a boxer brief that went to the tailor: square cut, short leg, sits low on the hip. It is the most forgiving silhouette we make and the best answer to "I want loud print, normal coverage." Ours are cut in micro-modal, which drapes closer than cotton and never bunches.

Choose it if: you want one cut that works for the office, the gym bag and the weekend. Start with: the Banana Blaze Trunk, our best seller.

The boxer brief: the long haul

Six inches of inseam for guys with bigger thighs, longer torsos, or a hatred of ride-up. Ours have a no-ride leg binding, so the leg stays where you put it through a full day of walking.

Choose it if: thigh chafe is real for you, or you simply like more fabric between you and the world. Start with: the Watermelon Burn Boxer Brief.

The jock: support, straps, statement

The jock is equipment. Full support up front, nothing behind, a waistband built to be seen. It started on athletes, got adopted by everyone else for extremely good reasons, and remains the definitive circuit-party cut.

Choose it if: you know exactly why you are buying it. Start with: the Pineapple Punch Jock.

Sizing, answered once

Our cuts run true to size with one rule: between sizes, size up. A waistband should sit flat without folding skin, and the pouch should hold without pressing. If your waist measures 31 inches, that is an M in briefs and trunks; if you are 32 and lifting heavy, take the L.

All four cuts ship tracked to the US, Europe and Israel, free over $40, with a 30-day fit swap if the first guess misses. Find your print.
